When it comes to diversity and inclusion (D&I), we often focus on what makes us different. How come we rarely focus on what makes us the same?
It’s a good question, and it’s one that Asif Sadiq, global diversity and inclusion thought leader and speaker, regularly puts to people. “Diversity will always look different, but the common thread is inclusion,” he explains. “That’s what we really need to get to, that’s what the focus should be on.”
Sadiq speaks from experience. Over the past decade he has headed up D&I for some of the world’s leading organizations, including EY, The Telegraph and Adidas.
So how can today’s leaders – and those in HR in particular – ensure that their D&I agenda is fit for a post-Covid workplace?
