Innovation in supplier relationships
Together Stronger Partnership, AstraZeneca and Sodexo, Corporate Services
Sodexo has worked with AstraZeneca since 2008, in a contract covering fully integrated Facilities Management (IFM) in the UK and Soft Services in Sweden.
In the latter half of 2017 the contract was coming to an end and the teams took the decision to work together on an ambitious partnership agreement and a Transformation project, which they titled the Together Stronger Partnership (TSP). They undertook a thorough review, defining a shared mission, setting out behaviours and a clear governance structure, deploying several transformation workstreams and creating the tools required to measure the success of the partnership.
Eighteen months in, the transformation is delivering great results both for the working relationship between AZ and Sodexo, as well as in terms of workplace experience and FM services.
